"New Money Records-Dallas" formally D-Town Entertainment (Dallas) is a southern Independent label that was established in 2007.We are a new breed of artist development company. While we provide many of the services of a typical record label marketing (both online and offline), A&R, publicity, creative design, etc we offer a modern outlook; an innovative and dynamic approach to developing artists in a new world. Our goal is to work with artists as diverse as Amy Winehouse, Linkin Park, Cold Play, Black Eyed Peas. We function independently of the major label system while benefiting from our close association with it. Most importantly, we have the freedom to only work on the projects we love. We're all about the music, and we're passionate about finding ways of utilizing new technologies to spread the word. We released the Mix Tape "Da Under Dog" Featuring Mr.Dtown- Dtown's Bad Boy! selling 1,500 copies with in 2 weeks in the Southern Region looking to aquire new talent and raise the bar of success for Independent record labels. I was inspired by lots of artists from Quincy Jones,Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Too $hort, 8 Ball & MJG, Notorious B.i.g,Tupac, Jay Z, Dallas artists DSR, E-class of Swisha House of course D.J.Screw, U.G.K. and many others.
